Why CSI

CSI stands for Church of South India and Mdurai – Ramnad Diocese is the ecumenical unit headed by Rt. Rev. Dr. Christopher Asir, is instrumental in conservation of Christian education; who started CSI college of Education in Pasumalai and Ramnad, utilizing the wealth of experience (35 years) of Dr. J.P. Gabriel (Rtd) from Department of education, Madurai Kamaraj University and The American College.

Educational Institutions of the Madurai – Ramnad Diocese were established before 1840 by American Missionaries for to serve the Socially underprivileged through Educational, Medical and Social enlistment programs. Today we have 36 High and Higher Secondary Schools, 45 Primary schools, 2 hospitals and 4 colleges
